As cities gradually return to the new normal, there’s no denying that how we interact, connect and experience each other has and will continue to be redefined. The open call aspires to imagine divergent possibilities for understanding how collective potentialities emerge or area actualised against a backdrop of a post-pandemic reality and upheavals of racial injustice. It begins by asking, will things get better simply by coming together? Do our commonalities make up for our differences? To what extent do they manifest in action? What do we need to do now, against the backdrop changing what it means and how much it means to be together?
